Project 2018

Welcome to our information section on Project 2018. 

Project 2018 is a new build and renewal initiative which will upgrade the campus of Wesley College Dublin, specifically the refurbishment of our Sports Hall, Gym and the building of new classrooms.

This section of our website will keep you up to date and informed as the project develops. New images/photographs and video clips will become available soon, so watch this space as Wesley College undertakes the biggest building project since the move to Ballinteer in 1969.

 

  

Having upgraded large sections of the College in the last ten years, it is now time to refurbish our Sports Hall and Gym and expand our sporting facilities. It is also time to built additional classroom space.  Planning permission has been granted and the new build is scheduled to begin in July 2017.

What will the project include?

Six new classrooms in a two-storey Classroom Centre to replace the prefabs located in the same area at the front of the Sports Hall.

 

An up-graded Sports Hall with storage facilities and revamped Gym Building with upgraded changing facilities.

 

A new link building to join the Sports Hall and Gym which will provide additional changing facilities, weights room, dance area, office space and general meeting area for pupils before PE class.

 

With an exceptional campus built over 50 years, Project 2018 will be the biggest expansion and improvement of facilities since the establishment of Wesley College in Ballinteer 50 years ago.
