The first years played a thoroughly entertaining blitz against Loreto Beaufort on Saturday. All teams played well without keepers with the A's coming back from 3-0 down to win 5-4 and the B's lost 3-6. They travelled down to Newbridge on Wednesday. The A team recorded an impressive 9-2 win, along with the C's 2-1 win and the D1's 3-0 win. Commiserations to the B's who were narrowly defeated 5-4 and the D2's who lost 2-0.

Rugby
Last Wednesday the SCT played St Fintan's in a friendly training match and the Colts played CUS. Both matches were played at home in heavy rain and very strong winds. Tries from Fergus Noonan and Luke Fitzpatrick saw the Seniors beat Fintan's 10-7 while in the Colts match Max Collins defied the conditions, to put in a classy performance at 10 and guide his team to a 48-12 victory. See all the photos from the TY match here.
The Under 15 A's and B's also braved the elements and despite the incredibly slippery conditions, they beat Kilkenny 59-7 and 49-12 respectively.
