TENNIS

A number of our girls teams played strong Mount Anville sides on Thursday. The Minor A and Senior B teams both lost but put up a good fight with two of the matches going to a tie break. The Senior A's lost 3-0 while the Junior B's lost 2-1 with Natasha Stanley and Katie Bell winning the only match on a tie break.  

The Junior B and Senior A teams were back in action on Friday against Teresians with both teams winning 3-0. The Minor C's were also playing them and they won their match 2-1.  

Two of the boys teams were also out. The Seniors beat St. Marys 4-1 while the Minor A's recorded a 4-0 loss to Sandford Park with the last match retired. 

CRICKET

At the end of last week the Junior boys beat Gonzaga college in a friendly. The 1st year A and B boys were also in action with mixed results. The B's lost to High School in the first round of the cup, while the A's beat St Columbus by 8 wickets, with Elliot Atkinson getting 27 runs not out.
