Commiserations to the Senior 1st boys and girls. Despite narrowly losing the Senior 1st girls put up a very good performance against a strong Kilkenny team on Wednesday, while the boys lost narrowly 2-1 against St Andrew's. Photos from both matches are available here. The Juniors B and D2's had their first league matches of the season. The Bs' had a great win against Loreto Foxrock with Kimi Lerougatel scoring the only goal of the match. The D2's travelled up to Cabra, however the home side took advantage of being used to playing on grit and the girls were narrowly defeated 2-1. A mixed Junior C and D1 team won their friendly against Sion Hill 2-1, Anna Lew scoring both Wesley goals. The Minor A's beat High School 2-0 and the C's lost by the same score.
Rugby

There was an outstanding set of results recorded for the Wesley across the board on Wednesday. Well done to the JCT who beat Pres Bray 14-7 in the Junior League. Tries from Oisin Spain and Tom Power and two conversions from Sean Verdon gave the team a great come from behind victory. Check out all the photos here. The U15 A's, B's and C's all had comprehensive wins against King's Hospital. The B's have now won six games in a row. Well done also to the U14 A's who drew 5-5 against King's Hospital, to the B's who won well against King's Hospital and hard luck to the C's who lost in a tight game.
