Welcome Student Library Assistants!
There’s a new team in the Library this year. As well as our new School Librarian, Ms Dickson, and Mr McConville, we have a team of Student Library Assistants. Students from all year groups applied for these voluntary positions, and completed training with the Librarian. They are helping with shelving and tidying, as well as tasks such as labelling and stamping new books. We hope this experience will be a positive one for all involved. The students will gain valuable work experience and other life skills here in the Library and we are extremely grateful for their willingness to give their free time so enthusiastically. Their help to the school community is greatly appreciated.
