BT Young Scientist Competition
The College was represented at the BT Young Scientist Exhibition by Transition Year student Josejuan de Leon. Over 2100 projects were submitted, so gaining the opportunity to compete with the 550 selected finalists is an achievement in itself. His project in the Technology category and was entitled "A better dew collection system". His aim was to develop systems using recycled materials that can collect water from the air in arid regions of the world to supplement drinking supplies and irrigation. He was supported by the 1st Years who visited the exhibition on Thursday. He is to be commended for all his hard work in the preparations and throughout the week.
