Bright Stars Awards 2021

The Mock Interview process this year had to change with the times and students experienced their first virtual interviews, a skill which may become increasingly necessary in the future. Students were given the opportunity to be interviewed virtually by one of a team of ten interviewers. Each candidate received comprehensive written and verbal feedback. Interviewers consistently commented upon the comprehensive preparation of pupils in terms of their appearance, presentation and answering.

From this twenty impressive students were short-listed and re-interviewed by Daniel Ellison of UpSwing Consultancy who selected our award winners. Congratulations to overall winner, Robyn Burke-Mellon and runners-up, David Bosch and Sophie Ramphul. All of our shortlisted candidates showed great composure and confidence, having learned from their prior interview experience. Well done to all of those involved.
