Entrepreneurial Success

Well done to Shane Pedlow whose Nestbox Ireland business caught the attention of RTÉ’s Nationwide this week. A film crew were on campus producing a slot for the programme showcasing Shane’s nestbox products. The idea started as a Business Enterprise project back in 2018 which went on to win the Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown Business Enterprise Intermediate prize. He further expanded the business for Transition Year mini-company in 2020 and is now regularly fulfilling orders for shops nationwide, as well as selling directly through his website. His success highlights his amazing initiative and entrepreneurial skills. We wish him the very best of luck with the enterprise going forward.
