Transition Year students Rachel Price ( Biology ) and Ceri Arnott ( Chemistry) competed in the Irish finals of the European Science Olympiads on Saturday 11th November. Over 300 high-achieving students from around the country had been selected to compete in DCU, based on their outstanding Junior Certificate Science and Maths results. Ceri achieved Highly Commended and Rachel won a Bronze medal, which puts her into a final training and selection process for the Irish team. Well done to them both.
