Irish Junior Science Olympiad
Well done to Jinlong Situ in Transition Year who has been selected to participate in the International Junior Science Olympiad in DCU. He was chosen on the basis of his achievement in Maths and Science in the Junior Certificate Examinations. Six students will be selected from the Irish Olympiad to compete in the international event in Doha, Qatar in December. We wish him every success.
Well done to Charles Eddershaw, Sungyun Kim and Emma Costello who were selected to compete for a place on the International Junior Science Olympiad squad. They were chosen on the basis of their achievement in Maths and Science in the Junior Certificate Examinations. All three attended the National Olympiad in DCU where Emma was eventually awarded a bronze medal. This means that she is on the panel to potentially represent Ireland. Well done to all.
