Poetry Aloud

Congratulations to Jody Maiden on winning the overall prize at the College Poetry Aloud finals on Thursday 26th October. Jody also won the Senior category in the competition. Holly Micklem took the Intermediate award and Toto Daly won the Junior section. Runners up in the three categories were Bevan Armstrong, Holly Leech and Hannah Murray, while Bethan Tenant was recognized for her exceptional achievement in reaching seven finals in seven years in Wesley. Twenty Wesley students reached the finals of the Poetry Aloud, a competition that has grown from a Wesley event to one now organised nationally.
