Prizes and Honours 2020

On October 8, the College was delighted to welcome past pupil, Neale Richmond TD, to distribute the awards at the annual Prize Distribution. Mr Richmond is no stranger to Wesley having led our Remembrance Day services in previous years. The highlight of the school calendar, the event acknowledges the academic achievements and perseverance of pupils throughout the year. Restrictions made it a rather different event though no less memorable.

Pupils in each year were presented prizes for academic excellence, effort and achievement in specific subjects. The most prestigious awards of the evening, The Frank Laird Prize for the best all round boy and The Martin Smyth Prize for the best all-round girl, were presented to Peter Costello and Emma Paul respectively.
