Ready, Steady, Cook!

Our Ready Steady Cook competition returned last week and it was a great afternoon of baking and creativity.

This year's theme was a 'sweet treat suitable for a special family occasion' using some Irish ingredients. 

There was a very high standard among participants and the judges Chef Emerson De Oliveira, Gráinne Darlington (PTA) and Mary Ahern (PTA) had some very hard decisions to make. 

Congratulations to Evelyn Arheit in 2nd Year, who won first prize for her 'Roisín's Chocolate Orange Roulade'. 

Congratulations also to Iona Wu, who was awarded 2nd place, and Holly Larkin who was awarded 3rd place.
