SciFest Best Horticulture Project

Huge congratulations to Holly Leech who competed in SciFest at IT Blanchardstown on Wednesday 2nd May and won a special prize for the Best Horticulture Project across all age groups. The title of her project was 'Can we get on TOP of SOIL degradation?'. She looked at the potential problem of soil fertility in years to come and came up with a feasible idea of using waste paper and various methods to ad nutrients. Ms. Hudson was thrilled to help her with the project and it'll hopefully lead on to a BT Young Scientist project next year.
