Senior Choir Appear on RTE's Countrywide Programme

Senior Choir made it to Airfield House and were in fine voice on Saturday morning, despite the very early start for soundchecks and the stormy conditions! They were appearing as guests on RTE Radio 1's Countrywide Christmas programme which was broadcast live from the Lily O'Brien Room of Airfield House. The drawing room was a perfect performance space and the choir opened the show with Carol of the Bells, accompanied beautifully by Bethany Edgar. A very engaging show unfolded and Santa even dropped by to say hello. Tommy Fleming then took to the microphone and Senior Choir joined him in a very moving rendition of the Christmas Classic, O Holy Night.
