Senior Choir at Farmleigh
Indoor and Outdoor ceremonies marking National Missing Person's day took place in Farmleigh House in The Phoenix Park on December 6th. Now in its fifth year, the ceremony offers families an opportunity to reflect and unite under the most difficult of circumstances. It was a profoundly moving and thought-provoking occasion with musical reflections provided by a chamber choir of 21 singers drawn from the Senior Choir. The group travelled to the Phoenix Park where they enjoyed the splendour of Farmleigh, bedecked in Christmas decorations, for a sound check, refreshments in The Orangerie followed by the poignant and solemn service. Martina O'Connell and Bethany Edgar opened the ceremony, choir revisited some much-loved repertoire from last year as well as seasonal favourites and Killian White performed an atmospheric Allemande for solo Cello.
