Silver Gaisce Award

The Silver Award is the second level of the Gaisce Award. The challenge areas of Community Involvement, Physical Recreation and Personal Skill each require minimum participation of one hour a week for 26 weeks. The Adventure Journey takes place over a minimum of 3 days and 2 nights. It is a serious and worthwhile commitment.

The school were delighted to celebrate the 11 students who achieved this Award. This brings the total of Silver Awards achieved this year to 12, doubling the amount achieved in the school to date. Congratulations to Ceri Arnott, Nicola Bond, Emily Cazzini, Jill Connor, Lee Griffin, James Humphrys, Thomas Humphrys, Jody Maiden, Zoe Mulligan, Lauren Taylor and Riain Verdon.
