Student Enterprise County Final Winner

The Business Department are delighted to announce that Wesley had six outstanding entries in the Student Enterprise County Final. Well done to Emma Ruttle (2nd Year) who was awarded 1st place in the Intermediate category for her beautiful product called 'Shoreline Art'. Emma creates pictures with pebbles collected from the beach which she then frames. Second place in the Senior category went to Holly Micklem, Liz Barnardo-Byrne and Connie Whelan who came up with a very innovative idea of a Mouldable Pen Grip to make it easier and more comfortable to hold a pen or pencil.  

A number of our other entries also impressed. These included: 

1st Year - David Bosch created his own property website and received a Merit Award in his category and was also winner of the Exceptional Presentation Award. 

1st Year - Cara Small and Sarah-Kate Costello left with their pockets full of money after selling out all of their product - American Slime 

2nd Year - Orrin Bradley-Brady represented Wesley with his delicious and very healthy Protein Bar 

3rd Year - Holly Leech also impressed with her beautiful home-made preserves.
