Wesley Artist of the Year
The theme of this year’s Wesley Artist of the Year was ‘Despite Covid…all is not cancelled’. Students were asked to create their works at home in any medium of their choice. The guest judges were both past pupils of Wesley who now work in design – Chris Merton and Daniella Kaligorsky. They awarded the Overall Wesley Artist of the Year to Sophie Ramphul (4th Year) for her artwork entitled ‘Reading isn’t cancelled’. The Junior prize was given to Alison Bailey Condron (3rd Year) for her piece ‘Silver Linings’. All the winners can be viewed on the College’s social media pages. Many thanks to the Parents Association for their funding of this competition.
